In 2004, our firm spun off from Moss Adams LLP and became an independent firm. Our well established local public accounting firm seeks an exceptional CPA with three to five years public accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in both assurance and tax work.  We want a team player with leadership potential and the desire to assume responsibility for project management. Projects will include audit and attest engagements, and to a lesser extent, partnership, individual, trust and estate tax return preparation and/or review.  We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package which includes health, prescription, vision, and dental insurance of which the firm pays 80% of the premium cost. We also offer five weeks paid vacation, generous year-end bonuses and a flexible 4x10’s schedule during non-tax season months along with many other perks! WHAT SETS US APART?

Our staff! We currently have three partners, one of whom are looking to retire soon. We want to develop new partners internally, so our primary focus is recruiting CPA candidates that eventually would like to be partners. We realize the path to partnership is a long one, but we are prepared to help you along that path. This is a great firm, and the benefits of partnership are substantial. In addition to our three partners, we have seventeen full-time employees in our office. We are the largest full service accounting firm on the Southern Oregon Coast.

WHAT IS THE WORK LIKE?

You will gain a wide range of experience working with us, and we will see that you are well trained and prepared to succeed in our office as a CPA. We have a very diverse clientele, and we provide our clients many different services. You will get thoroughly versed in income tax preparation, planning and research, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, payroll, financial statement preparation, and assurance services. We have a large municipal auditing practice so you can get plenty of audit experience if you so desire. The office has a very strong trust and estate niche. Opportunity is available in that specialty and many others.

WHAT IS THE AREA LIKE?

Our office is located in North Bend, Oregon, which is located in Coos County. The Coos Bay/North Bend area is the largest community on the Oregon Coast. Coos County has a population of approximately 65,000 people. It is small enough to feel off the beaten path, but large enough to offer many of the conveniences you would expect from a larger community. We are minutes from beaches and excellent hiking and kayaking. If you are an outdoors enthusiast, this community is for you.
